It just won't show up as anything other than "0" until your colonies reaches around 2,000 people. You can add facilities to accelerate that rate, but even if you don't, that natural growth will keep chugging along. So if you've got a new colony with 100 people, you'll be getting around 0.05 people/min.) Give them some extra Hab space and come back in a bit, and you'll have a few more people than you did when you left.

(It's technically 0.0005 people per min, per current population. The native birthrate is very low for small populations, but it's still there. Hey, thanks for the message! :) Your colonists will require Hab facilities until the planet becomes habitable, but as soon as the planet reaches that threshold, they'll automatically start living out on the surface. In the meantime, keep one thing in mind: fast-forwarding the clock will fast-forward EVERYTHING happening on your planet, so you might complete a building immediately but also overshoot your effect on the sea level, etc.Īnyway, thanks for the kind words, and as soon as I find a fix that works, I'll submit it in an update. It's on my list of things to fix in a future update, I just haven't found the perfect way to do it. Quit the app and relaunch, and you're back to Square 1. I could also track the time elapsed during gameplay, but that only works as long as the app is running. Put it on Airplane Mode, and you're back to Square 1. The simplest answer would just be to have it check an external time source to confirm that the device's time hasn't been altered, but that only works when you're connected to the internet.

Thanks for the message! Yeah, I know about that exploit, but it's a surprisingly tricky thing to prevent.
